Kadokawa has launched a brand new character trailer for the upcoming Detectives These Days Are Loopy!, spotlighting the energetic persona and impressions of the lead heroine Mashiro. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2025. 

Rion Kujo (The Legendary Hero Is Useless!, Wanna be the Strongest in the World!) is directing the anime collection, with Rintaro Ikeda (Insomniacs After Faculty) as collection screenwriter, Isoroku Koga (Ryman’s Membership co-costume designer) as character designer and chief animation director, and Tomoki Kikuya (Bocchi the Rock!) as music composer. LIDENFILMS is in cost of the animation manufacturing.

The unique comedy thriller manga collection by Masakuni Igarashi was launched in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh journal on April 27, 2016 and has launched 15 tankobon volumes as of August 2024.

One Peace Books licensed the manga for English launch, describing the primary synopsis as:
