Japanese rock band KANA-BOON has returned with their newest observe “SUPERNOVA,” the opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime Dr. Stone Science Future, and is now available on several music streaming platforms. The second cour of the long-running anime collection started broadcasting in Japan on July 10, 2025. 

“SUPERNOVA” was written for the second cour of Dr. Stone Science Future, with an accompanying music video that includes the band additionally being launched. 

A creditless opening sequence of the second cour with the brand new single was additionally posted on TOHO Animation’s official YouTube channel. 

Dr. Stone: Science Future‘s first cour premiered in Japan on January 9, 2025 and ran for 12 episodes till March 27, 2025. It’s the remaining season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation, which can run for 3 break up cours.

The primary season of Dr. Stone was launched in 2019, which is adopted by the second season of Stone Wars in 2021. The third season, Dr. Stone: New World, started its first cour in April 2023 and the second cour in October 2023.
