The primary heroine visible for A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2 has been launched forward of the TV anime’s July 8 JST premiere.

The celebs of this visible are Erika Amano and Ai Mochizuki, with the latter standing out along with her outsized shirt that has a picture of protagonist Nagi Umino.

A Couple of Cuckoos is predicated on the romantic comedy manga by Miki Yoshikawa, which started in 2020 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Journal and has 28 volumes as of June 2025. Kodansha USA describes the manga as:

16-year-old super-studier Nagi Umino, second-year scholar on the Meguro River Academy highschool, was switched at start. On his approach to a dinner to satisfy his start mother and father, he by chance meets the brash, outspoken, Erika Amano, who is decided to make Nagi her pretend boyfriend as she by no means needs to truly marry. However as soon as Nagi makes it to dinner, he finds his mother and father have determined to resolve the hospital change by conveniently having him marry the daughter his start mother and father raised…who seems to be none aside from Erika herself!

The anime’s first season aired in 2022.
